Sew yourself a thin and soft two-layer cotton kerchief with a visor. This kerchief will protect your baby's head, face, and eyes from direct sunlight on a hot summer day.

Please Note. The sewing pattern is colored. You will need a color printer to print out it.

Double-layer kerchief sewing pattern includes 3 sizes, Find your baby girl size.

S size (6 - 9 M), head circumference 18 inches (46 cm)

M size (9 - 12 M), head circumference 19 inches (48 cm)

L size (12 - 24 M), head circumference 19 3/4 inches (50 cm)

How to measure the head circumference? Place the string or tape measure around your head about 1/4 inches (0,5 cm) above your ears, completely circling your head. See in the photo gallery - photo 12.

To sew a kerchief then you will need:

For kerchief: 1yd (1 meter) of soft cotton fabric that is 59 inches (1,5 meters) wide will be enough to sew a kerchief of any size.
For a visor: 3/8 yd (35 cm) of thicker cotton fabric that is 24 inches (60 cm) wide will be enough to sew a visor of any size.
For a visor: 3/8 yd (35 cm) of fusible non-woven interfacing that is 24 inches (60 cm) wide will be enough to sew a visor of any size.

Tutorial and sewing patterns - all measurements are given in inches (in) and centimeters (cm).

All sewing patterns have seam allowances.

US Letter size paper measurements: 8.5 inches x 11.0 inches (21,6 cm x 27,9 cm)
