The sewing pattern with tutorial to sew double layer cadet-style warm and soft winter hat. The outer layer of the hat is made of medium-thick elastic fleece fabric. Inside, the side and upper parts are made of elastic soft cotton fabric. The band of the hat is a two-layer fleece fabric. This hat will fit your head tightly and the wind will not blow it. This hat will hide hair loss if you are a chemotherapy patient.

Cadet hat sewing pattern includes 6 sizes, The size chart is:

S size fits: 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) teens head circumference

M size fits: 21 1/4 inches (54 cm) woman head circumference

L size fits: 22 inches (56 cm) woman head circumference

XL size fits: 22 7/8 inches (58 cm) woman head circumference

XXL size fits: 23 5/8 inches (60 cm) woman head circumference

XXXL size fits: 24 3/8 inches (62 cm) woman head circumference

How to measure the head circumference. Place the string or tape measure around the head about 1/4 inches (0,5 cm) above the ears, completely circling the head.

To sew a hat, then you will need:

Stretch green microfleece fabric: 39 inches (1 meter) wide – 1 yd (1 meter).
Stretch cotton woven fabric for lining: 39 inches (1 meter) wide – 1/2 yd (50 cm).
Denim fabric scrap for visor: 8 inches x 16 inches (20 cm x 40 cm).
This amount of all three fabrics (fleece, cotton woven, and denim) will fit any hat size you choose to sew.
